Those videos are now podcast episodes, created for you, the way you like to listen. These episodes shine a light on the mothering experience amid “pandemic parenting”. Join Vancouver Mom publisher Christine Pilkington as she goes behind the scenes of these women’s journeys, digging deeper into the role Vancouver plays in these stories.VancouverMom.ca’s As A Mother is a digital short film and podcast series. It’s partially funded by a Government of Canada Heritage grant. This grant supports communities through arts and heritage. Finally, All videos and podcasts are thoughtfully filmed, recorded and produced by Kahani Pictures.

Christine Pilkington

Christine Pilkington launched VancouverMom.ca on her couch in 2009. Breakfast Television has dubbed her a Baby Product Guru and she has appeared in the media, including CBC, CTV and more, as a local parenting expert over 100 times.

Christine is the winner of the Women of Worth Entrepreneurship Award and was shortlisted for the YWCA Women of Distinction Award. She is also the producer of Leading Moms, a TEDx-style live event featuring the triumphs of moms that ran for 8 years prior to the onset of the pandemic.

Christine lives with her husband, three children and a Lagotto Romagnolo in East Vancouver, about 10 minutes from where she grew up. Christine is also the CEO of Crisp Media Inc, which develops offers fractional CMO and marketing strategies for businesses.
